Yeah yeah yeah, we're talking about 222 Hyde quite a lot in this week's Nitewise, but what can I say they're bangin' it out this week with one solid night of music after another. Just last night, Claude von Stroke played a set to a stuffed house. Well, it's not too difficult to pack that place, just sayin'. Anyways, back on track with this gem of a Sunday night party featuring the SF debut of Trus'Me. In just a few short years, he's received quite a few stellar compliments, including Peter Nicholson from XLR8R writing "Like bookends, some 12”s will work with both the beginning and the end of the night, such is the classy sampling from Trus'Me." Gilles Peterson went on to say “If there was ever a house record made for me, it would sound like this.” And you can only imagine what an endorsement did for this guy. Check out his SF debut alongside residents Nikola, Solar, Kwai le Chief, and more. (Kuze)
