Tonight at Wish, the good music begins at 8pm sharp, when guest Layne Loomis steps to the decks. A veteran of the scene, Burning Man, and life in general, Layne brings a refreshingly genuine enthusiasm along with his big personality to the party. Expect tight mixing, drummy / heady tracks, and haunting vocals in his set. Alongside the other guest of the evening Ben Seagren, these two cats have been running the show as far as daytime parties go out at Burning Man. There is no denying the Deep End camp was a force to be reckoned with for many years out on the playa. Seeing these two cats perform together is a treat, and you will be hearing some new cuts from Seagren as he gets ready to drop a big EP this Spring. Resident Kuze plays whatever he feels like, sometimes that means Carly Simon and Herbie Hancock. Whatever You Wish. (Doug)
