The Crazies Will Destroy You
Email By: Kuze
"The Crazies Will Destroy You began life in the Fall of 2006 in San Francisco, California. Tony had some songs, Tina had some drums, and by a mysterious combination of kismet and Craigslist, they found one another and got together, musically speaking. In a now infamous incident, Tina pulled a bowie knife on Tony at their first jam session when he refused to share his chocolate cupcake with her. Fortunately, Tina did not stab Tony but, instead, decided that they should form a band (as a result of the bowie knife incident, Tony occasionally experiences spontaneous eruptions of spasticity during Tina's intense drum passages; these mini-seizures are sometimes mistaken for guitar shredding). A few weeks later, Tina and Tony recruited the Jade, an elegant intellectual-vagabond sex symbol, who impressed them with monster bass skills and artistic microphone humping. They were still incomplete, however, until they met David, who was exactly the nerd-casanova guitar wizard they needed to complete the picture. Thus, a band was born. In early 2007, taking the name The Crazies Will Destroy You, the band began gigging around San Francisco, pressing CDs, and generally destroying stuff with their own brand of avant post-pop punk geek rock." The Bye Bye Blackbirds and The Family Arsenal open up the night at Bottom of the Hill.
